Welcome to the Working Clasp blog 🌿✨

Connecting you to the rhythms of nature through jewellery & storytelling

The Pagan Wheel of the Year is an ancient way of marking the seasons, celebrating the ever-changing cycles of nature, and finding meaning in the subtle shifts that guide us from one phase to the next. These seasonal festivals—from the renewal of Imbolc to the harvest of Mabon and the deep reflection of Samhain—have become an essential part of my creative journey. Through them, I’ve found a way to connect more deeply with nature, my craft, and the people who wear my jewellery.

As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent woman, I’ve always struggled with feeling behind in life, caught between a mind bursting with creative ideas and the challenges of a chaotic neurotype. I know from talking to many of you that I’m not alone in this. Nature has been a grounding force for so many of us, offering a sense of rhythm, clarity, and calm amidst the overwhelm. By tuning into the seasons, I’ve found a way to focus my creativity, and I hope that my jewellery can serve as a small but meaningful visual reminder to embrace self-expression, connection, and the cyclical nature of life.

Working Clasp is more than just jewellery—it’s about creating wearable reminders of these natural cycles, helping us slow down and tune into the beauty of the changing seasons. Whether it’s the resilient snowdrop pushing through the frost of February or the rich autumnal hues of brambles and mushrooms, my collections are a way to carry the magic of nature with you, wherever you go.

This blog is a space to share seasonal insights, reflections, and the stories behind my jewellery, helping you feel more in tune with the world around you.
