Can I return or exchange an item?

As a small independent business, I don’t offer refunds, but I’m happy to exchange your jewellery for another item of equal value or offer store credit within 28 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original packaging and condition.

For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings and hoops cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.

Which items can’t be returned?

  • Personalised jewellery (such as name necklaces & hen party kits) – These are custom-made, so I can’t accept returns. Please double-check details before ordering!
  • Earrings – For hygiene reasons, I can’t take these back.
  • Items that have been worn or damaged after purchase.

If you’re returning an item, please ensure:
✔ It’s unworn and in its original condition
✔ It’s in the original packaging
✔ It’s securely wrapped in a padded envelope to prevent damage during transit

I recommend using a tracked or signed-for service when returning items. Please keep hold of your tracking number.

For international customers:

If returning an item, please mark it as ‘Returned Goods’ on any customs forms to avoid additional fees. If an item is incorrectly marked and a customs charge is incurred by Working Clasp, the fee will be passed on to you, and the refund process may be delayed.

Exchanging a Gift

Can I exchange a present I've received?

Of course! I want you to love your jewellery and wear it for years to come. As long as you have proof of purchase, I can exchange your item for another piece of equal value. If you’d prefer something more expensive, you’re welcome to pay the difference.

Again, pierced earrings and hoops cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons, unless faulty.

Jewellery Care Tips

To keep your Working Clasp jewellery looking its best, follow these simple care instructions:

💖 Store your jewellery in a pouch or box when not in use.
🧼 Clean gently with a soft cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
🚿 Avoid wearing jewellery while sleeping, showering, or exercising.
⚡ Be mindful with sprays & creams (perfume, moisturiser, sunscreen) as they can cause acrylic to dull over time.
💥 Handle with care – Dropping acrylic jewellery onto hard surfaces can weaken or break the piece.
