What can I do?

Hi all,

Well, it’s hard to know what to say and do right now. Nothing like this has happened before so I will just try my best to communicate what I have been doing recently. I’ve been running my Jewellery label for around 10 years now so working from home isn’t really new for me. I am however really struggling not seeing my family and friends and going dancing which helps immensely with my mental health. Despite how hard I may find this situation I am realising how lucky and privileged I am to be able to continue to WFH at the moment.

My sister is working on the frontline in A&E so I am privy to just how tough things are getting there right now. Thinking about what I can do to help or contribute to my community at this time and decided to make this brooch so people can show solidarity and appreciation for all those NHS workers who are saving lives in extremely difficult circumstances. I have tried to make it as affordable as possible taking only half of the money in order to cover my costs and try and stay afloat at the moment. The other half (£5) of each sale I will donate to the NHS Charities COVID-19 Urgent Appeal. Find out more about the appeal here.

I have plans to make more badges in support of key workers and mental health charities. I also have a few more designs in development so watch this space.
