The Story Behind Bouquet…
My little sister got married in Portugal last year so of course I jumped at the chance to make the jewellery for her bridesmaids! (Me, included) There were 8 of us in total, an absolute stellar cast of her most favourite people.
Her bouquet was custom made on Etsy and filled with seasonal silk flowers. She wanted some Y2K vibes for us so I thought we could all go for some bright satin slip dresses to match the colours in her bouquet.
This inevitably led to making each bridesmaid statement earrings to pair with a particular flower from the bouquet and to match the dress. (Yes, I did make a lot of work for myself there, with the EIGHT bridesmaids!) But I am so grateful for my perfectionism on this occasion as I’ve now got a whole bouquet of statement flower earrings which I can now share with you. Oh and the bridal party looked absolutely incredible! A rainbow of joy surrounding my little sis on her big day.
